This is the journey Martin Klässner, founder and CEO of e-mobility specialist has.to.be has completed. His idea transformed into an international acclaimed technology exit – and all from Radstadt, a small town in Salzburg. 

For the price of 250 million euros, the charging software startup was bought by the American Charge Point Group last summer – the highest price ever paid for an Austrian startup.

However, the road to the multi-million euro exit was not an easy one. In his presentation, Klässner discussed the most important milestones of the company’s development and showed which topics are essential for startups and SMEs on their growth course and how even a company location beyond the traditional metropolitan areas can be a location advantage.
